Offstage, Red enjoys exploring the ways an individual can be indoors and fully protected from the Sun. He beat 146 comics to win the 2010 Rooster T Feathers Comedy Competition. He performed at 2011-2016 SF Sketchfest, including appearing in Jimmy Pardo's "Write Now!". His Game of Thrones podcast, “Boars, Gore, and Swords” is a member of the BoingBoing podcast network. He performs all over the Bay Area, and is a regular at The San Francisco Punch Line, 142 Throckmorton Theatre, The San Jose Improv, and Rooster T Feathers, as well as the usual black box theaters and laundromats.
