Matt Ballard is a Kentucky native who has lived in New York City for twenty years. Matt has done a variety of film and television work. He can currently be seen in “Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp” on Netflix. He will be next seen in the feature films Blue Angel and Going In Style. His other credits include roles in Role Models, “Wainy Days”, and a role in the soon-to-be released film, "Jimmy Vestvood."

Also a comic writer, Matt has written and sold several scripts to Comedy Central. He also co-created and acted in the “Good News” campaign, 16 interstitial spots for MTV.
In his spare time, Matt is an avid rock climber and runner. He will be running his first New York City Marathon this November to raise money for The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, a camp at which he has volunteered for the past twelve years. Matt is married and has two young sons.
