Scientist, engineer, comedian, author, and inventor; Bill Nye is a man with a mission: to help foster a scientifically literate society. Bill started out as an engineer at Boeing and then transitioned to working as a comedy writer and performer in Seattle, where the beloved television show, "Bill Nye the Science Guy," was born. The show won 18 Emmys in five years.
Bill is currently the CEO of the Planetary Society, the world’s largest space interest group. He is the author of two books published for a general audience "Undeniable – Evolution" and the "Science of Creation," which he considers a primer on the discoveries and principles of evolution, and the recently released "Unstoppable: Harnessing Science to Change the World." With his books and all his writing, Bill hopes to inspire people everywhere to change the world.
